Our Method
Our thoughtfully designed
custom built accommodation is modern and fully inclusive with customised rooms for your feline friend.
We have a wide range of different sizes depending on your cat, each room is completely unique with their style and design.
The beautifully crafted housing includes 18 spacious rooms
to ensure that your cat is comfortable with room to move around freely and plenty of comfortable fresh blankets and toys.
On arrival, your cat will be placed into their chosen room in the carrier
and left to adjust to the environment and come out when they feel comfortable.
Natalie spends a few days getting to know them, and when they are settled and comfortable, they are allowed into the main cattery so they can come and go as they please. We study your cats behavior, as we all know - no one cat is the same.
Some like to stay in their room and sleep, others can't wait to get out and explore.
Once Natalie feels your cat has adjusted, she will let out another calm and social cat to play. Under no circumstances will a cat will be let out unless Natalie feels it is safe. We prioritise keeping a calm and safe environment for both our feline guests and our wonderful employees.
Socialising a cat can take 2 minutes or 3 days, but as we have seen time and time again, with lots of cuddles and care, they have the best holiday and leave relaxed and confident.
Our Rooms
Our Cattery has a purpose built pergola accommodating 12 large rooms, our garden within the netted pergola has 3 rooms. We now have two separate large villas netted in their own pergolas for cats or family of cats that would like their own garden, these have their own cat friendly plants.
All Rooms are Double/Triple Size providing your cat with a lot of room to play or sleep.
The Main Cattery rooms are large and once settled your cat can come out and enjoy the garden, sunshine and lots of fun things to do.
The private Villa's back onto the bush with their own private garden full of cat grass, they are large and have lots of different levels to relax and play.
The cat's are fed in their rooms and use their own litter, they rarely go into another cats room at the end of the day once again they know their room and are fed and put to bed, in summer the external doors stay open with their room doors locked and a outdoor blind pulled down. We also always have music playing in the cattery!
In winter the external doors are closed and internal heaters are on. Our day is governed by the weather, in case of a storm we put them to bed early, in case of extreme heat, fans are on throughout the cattery and individual fans in rooms, salmon and tuna ice block treats are given to cool cats down , we also have cooling mats.
